Skating The Factory

Klitmøller is all about manouvering through and getting the best of the present conditions around you. Yesterday the waves were hardly showing and the sun was shinning, so the conditions allowed for a good Stand Up Paddle tour around Klitmøller on my Naish Javelin. Damn have I been missing these lately !

Back on the Javelin

The paddle left me pretty cold, but as soon as my fingers had defrosted and regained conciousness the conditions had come together for another piece of action to unfold. 4 of my good friends from school wanted to go skating. Dennis and his father had built a mini ramp inside a warehouse and they were up for hosting a shredder session.

Thumbs up to Dennis and his dad for putting up this fun ramp

It was almost like going searching for waves, cause the warehouse was located in the middle of nowhere. After driving for 30 minutes we found the very remote warehouse covered in a strong golden glare of sunlight. This was  just the right place to be at this time. We were amped for a great session among friends!

The factory crew !

The ramp was extremely fun and very well built, and yet it was just another example of how easy it actually is to build your own ramp! It was so cool to see how much the guys’ skate skills had improved while being gone for 2 months. Later in the day we built a small kicker and had some great laughs at our utter lack of skill :) But hell yeah it was fun !

Lot's of innovative moves were pulled off - Dennis doing the "Olli to Skovskider"as it was named by Anders

Check the fun short clip Mathias put together from the day:

Hopefully the conditions with the good waves will return soon, but if not, we got an alternative ;)
